But geemini that being said, if you manage to get a unit without the static when using USB, and the issues with Vinyl mode, and play and cue buttons that work every time, then you actually have yourself a decent little dj controller that would make a good beginner set of decks.

I would only buy this if you can get it used from someone who will let you test the thing out for a few days before committing. I tend to use CDs over USB sticks so it didn't bother me too much, but in no circumstances should a device like this produce static over the master outputs. When opened from box and connected only one side one cdj worked.
